What’s new about the recipe?
Unique and only from HiPP: with Metafolin®, a folate source that is inspired by nature.
For more than 50 years, we have been putting all our care and expertise into developing our top-quality HiPP formulae. They are based on the latest scientific findings from breast milk research, in line with our corporate philosophy, and contain only responsibly sourced natural raw materials of supreme HiPP organic quality. At the same time, we always think about future generations and therefore produce all our formulae in a climate-neutral manner (in Germany).*
HiPP COMBIOTIC® formulae are inspired by nature so that babies get everything they need for natural and healthy development even after breastfeeding.
This is why HiPP ORGANIC COMBIOTIC® combines these unique and tried-and-tested ingredients:
- Natural lactic acid cultures, that were originally obtained from breast milk. Breast milk contains a large number of natural lactic acid cultures that can vary from mother to mother.
- GOS (galacto-oligosaccharides) obtained from organic lactose. Lactose is the main carbohydrate in breast milk. This means that GOS components also occur naturally in breast milk.
- And now ALSO: Metafolin® – a folate source that is inspired by nature.
Can I use up the formula I have already purchased?
You can certainly use up the formula you are currently using.
The best way to transition from one feed to another is to do so gradually. Increase the number of feeds with the new formula by one bottle a day. This way, your baby’s digestive system can gradually get used to the new formula.
When will the new formula be available in stores?
The new HiPP formula with its new recipe will be available in stores from October 2021. The words "NEW with Metafolin®" on the packaging will make it easy to identify the new formula.
