The HiPP Breast Milk Research Group has been examining the composition of breast milk and its positive effect on babies’ health for years. International experts in the field of infant nutrition discuss with HiPP nutritionists the newest findings in breast milk research and the possibilities of taking these into consideration in the further development of products.
Already in 2007, within the setting of this research group, the combination of breast milk dietary fibres and natural lactic acid cultures as found in breast milk were decided on as the ideal solution in the future development of infant milk formulae.
In two clinical studies, which were presented to an international professional audience in 2010 and at the beginning of 2011, it was possible to impressively demonstrate which benefits producing infant formulae which is similar to breast milk could have for non-breastfed infants.
Today, with the new infant formulae, HiPP is the first brand that gives mothers the possibility to provide their babies with the important dietary fibres (GOS*), natural lactic acid cultures and important Omega-3 fatty acids, also after breastfeeding.
